Evgeny Lushpin, born in Moscow in 1966, graduated from Art-graphic department MGPU and Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts. He mixes traditions of both Russia and Western European pectoral art in his paintings, focusing mainly on landscape; he paints in a realistic manner, picturing daily life of the city. Evgeny is known as one of the most outstanding modern Russian painters and his brilliant use of colour and sharp contrast combined with loose impressionistic brush strokes bring a dynamic quality to his impressive artwork.
